1) Athletes must always be at practice on time, dressed out, and ready to participate. “On time is late. Early is on time.” Two late pickups and you will be dismissed from the team.
2) Athletes must display respect towards all coaches, teachers, parents, teammates, and fellow competitors.
3) Athletes must behave in a manner that reflects well upon themselves, their team, and North Paulding High School (No Lying, No Cheating, and No Stealing)
4) In order to remain on the team, all athletes are required to keep their grades up. Failing grades will result in some form of consequence. If academic help is needed, please see Coach McCorvey or Coach Terrebonne.
5) Attendance Requirements are as follows:
a. Athletes must attend all practices and races that they qualify to run in.
b. Practices/Meetings are MANDATORY. Athletes will be held out of 1 meet per absence.
c. No athlete is allowed to have more than 2 unexcused absences. A 3rd unexcused absence will result in the dismissal from the team.
* Violation of the aforementioned rules will be dealt with on a case by case basis and will be at the coaching staff’s discretion. Furthermore, the coaching staff reserves the right to apply consequences to any other form of athlete action of behavior that is deemed to have a negative effect on the overall well being of the team. (per NPHS policy any student that receives ISS will be suspended from practice for that day. ISS days will count as an absences and the athlete will be held out of 1 meet per absence.)
